Marie's Diner
Its been a while readers! Just had a fantastic brunch at a local Diner. Marie's Diner is located off Crain hwy in La Plata, MD. It doesn't look like much in the outside but the food and service is outstanding. It was a full house but we were lucky and got seated quickly.
Our server april was very helpful. My husbands country fried chicken was a over cooked, but she handled it quickly and the second try was a hit! I ordered a basic plater with pancakes. Sorry "i" guys Marie's left your tiny pancakes in last place. The picture below is a short stack but the pancakes are huge! They taste so buttermilk rich it did not needs a lot of syrup. Every bite of those pancakes was a confetti of flavor bursting through the senses. If you are in the charles county or Waldorf area. Great food and great prices. You must make this a to eat priority. I give them 4 hearts out of 5!
